Decarbonising Road Freight Transport

Published

Today, 96.9% of heavy-duty freight vehicles operate on diesel fuel, posing a major challenge for the transition toward low-carbon solutions.

Heavy-duty freight vehicles account for more than 86% of total freight transport in France (measured in tonne-kilometres in 2023).
